It’s true - for 20 years the Canberra Spinners and Weavers and their many friends have been gathering, for the first 13 years at Birrigai and now for 7 years at
Greenhills. for a fun relaxing and refreshing weekend. The emphasis of the weekend has always been on friendship, and networking.

Golden Box Donations

Please remember that the Golden Box charge has been increased to $3. This charge is paid whenever you attend a function or meeting at the Guild and helps cover our running costs.

Group Activities
 Guild activity groups are open to all members from beginners to the highly skilled. Visitors are also most welcome. These groups offer the opportunity to share and learn in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
 Activity groups meet in a range of venues from the "Kurrajong" rooms to members homes.
There is a $3 charge for all people using the "Kurrajong" rooms to cover the cost of tea and coffee and contribute to the general expenses of running our premises.

Tuesday Drop-In Day
10.00 am to 2.00pm, Kurrajong

Bring along your latest work in progress and get together with other members. The Library and shop are available (members only). The Equipment Hire Manager is usually in attendance from 12.30 to 2.00pm. Please bring your own lunch, tea and coffee are available.

Tuesday Evening Drop-In
6.00 pm to 9.00pm, Kurrajong
Join us, bring a project share, show and tell. Information provided for basic spinning and weaving. Library, shop sales, return and hire of equipment are all available.
Weaving Study Group

Every fourth Thursday at Kurrajong, 10.00am to 2.00pm

The Weaving Study Group is open to anyone who is a CSW member and is interested in weaving. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced weaver you will be most welcome.

Meets weekly at members' homes from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm .

WEDNESDAY EVENING SPINNING GROUP

Meets alternate Wednesdays in members homes 7pm to 10.00pm .

If your daily routine is keeping you away from your spinning come and try our evening group. We are always happy to see new faces.

THURSDAY SPINNING GROUP

  Meets fortnightly at Kurrajong unless otherwise listed. 10 am to 2.30 pm. Everyone is most welcome to join us - please bring your own lunch - tea and coffee are available all day. Help with your wheel or spinning is always available.

FRIDAY KNITTING GROUP

Meets monthly on the last Friday of the month at Kurrajong.

RAG RUG GROUP

2nd Friday of the month from 10am to 2pm at Kurrajong.

A great opportunity to practice your hooky or proggy skills. Bring lunch tea, coffee provided.

TAPESTRY WEAVING GROUP

Second Saturday of the month at Kurrajong, 10.00am to 1.00pm .
BYO lunch.
